ALL MEMBERS
There is a lot we can say and utter in this absolute difficult time and period that we are going to go through. Unfortunately, I need to agree with the CEO Godfrey Motsa, that there is no more words and that this can never ever happen again.
We are left with an apocalyptic scene of lawless mayhem and destruction in the name of who knows and for whatsoever reason.
I see us as a community and during these absolute difficult times in front of us we need to rally even stronger together to stand by our family’s friends and relatives that are gutted, confused and broken.
I am also writing to all employers and make a request to open your hearts during this time and provide assistance, support and help for others when called upon. We will be in contact with organisations that will be assisting those people in need that was effected by this absolute and unnecessary destruction and businesses that need to rebuild. We will provide you with information as soon as we have more details.
We can only hope and pray that GOD almighty looks down on us with favour and I leave you with this verse from the Christian Bible that I believe should be our guidance during this time.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
